Rumour has it that blog search subscription service PubSub may be closing down following a round of recent redundancies. Interestingly, it has raised a number of grousing voices in the blogosphere -- see some of the trackbacks and comments to the TechCrunch posting where I spotted this.



PubSub employee Steven Cohen says, in his usual self-aggrandising/portentous manner, that he just won't talk about it.

If PubSub does go then Structured Blogging will go with it.

I don't sit about monitoring the fates of young software companies, but I'm wondering if this is one of the first Web 2.0 enterprises to hit the rocks.
