Usage generation is one of the main focuses of many publishers to increase the value of  their brands and ensure renewal of subscriptions. Looking at innovative ways to do this is key to generation of a continuing upward trend.

ALPSP (the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers) offers an ongoing programme of CPD and learning events for publishers, and Ingenta will be presenting at its upcoming seminar, "To Measure or not to Measure: Driving Usage to Content - Marketing, Measurement and Metrics" in London on 27th September.  At this event, Ruth Wells, Product Manager, will be chairing the session which leads publishers through potential innovations and new trends in the usage environment to assist publishers in forming their future strategy.

This seminar will cover a variety of topics ranging from Open Access and how this impacts on usage, to the benefits of incorporating usability testing in the development of your online site.  The focus of this seminar is to give a fresh view on the tools and techniques that can be used to deliver increasing usage, introducing new and established perspectives on the approach your organisation could take. With a range of speakers from different vendors, publishing organisations and experts in their field, the intention is to provide an interesting, thought provoking series of presentations relating to usage and how to increase it in relation to your content.

“To Measure or not to Measure” is a full day event on Thursday 27th September, taking place at Carlton House Terrace in Central London. You can find out more about the event and sign up to attend here. We look forward to seeing you there.
