As CEO, Scott Winner builds and drives the organization to deliver successfully across all areas of Professional Services, Research and Development, Customer Service and Service Delivery. Scott is responsible for overseeing and evolving how Ingenta creates and delivers new products, for deploying its innovations to customers and managing the overall operational execution, all with a strong metrics and analytics driven approach.
Prior to his role as COO, Scott was EVP, Global Projects for Ingenta, but has previously held roles managing product line P&L, driving product development efforts and building successful organizations to deliver. He has worked across several different industries, including educational publishing, manufacturing and financial services, and has held roles at Pearson Education, Amplify Learning, McGraw-Hill and the Fireman’s Fund insurance company.
As Chief Financial Officer of Ingenta, effective from 1st January 2017, Jon is responsible for the financial well-being and stability of the organisation, as well as communicating with the investor community. Jon will attend plc Board Meetings as Company Secretary.
Prior to his appointment as Interim CFO, as Group Financial Controller, Jon managed the Ingenta Finance function, including all aspects of compliance, forecasting and reporting. An ACA qualified accountant, Jon spent the early part of his career in practice, latterly at PWC, managing audits and compliance over a broad range of companies and market sectors. Prior to joining Ingenta, he held similar finance roles in the IT and Retail industry. Jon qualified as a chartered accountant in 2001 before joining Ingenta in January 2010.
As Interim Head of PCG, Donna leads a global sales team of knowledgeable, seasoned sales executives in the delivery of content and services to libraries on behalf of our partners in the scholarly publishing market. Fifteen years ago, Donna started at PCG as a dedicated North American sales representative to a single publisher. Along the way, she expanded her knowledge of international markets by managing a dedicated global team for a key partner. In the last few years, Donna has been involved in the full spectrum of PCG’s business offerings. Throughout her tenue, Donna has helped PCG grow as a dynamic, nimble company.
Always a sales person, before joining PCG Donna sold in a variety of markets, from architectural/building to advertising to pharmaceutical with stories to tell from each!
As Director of Ingenta Advertising, Paul is responsible for the development and continual progression of Ingenta’s advertising product range, which currently serves some of the world’s largest consumer and business to business publishers.
With a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Paul has hands-on product development experience from his previous roles at Autofile and later Anite Systems, and more recently at 5 Fifteen, where he oversaw several large multi-national installations of its advertising software, before he assumed the role of General Manager with operational and strategic responsibilities.
Paul holds Certified IT Professional membership of the British Computer Society and has Chartered Engineering status with the Engineering Council.
As Director of Commercial Products, Gary is responsible for the delivery of our enterprise software products across the organization and has worked on many of our largest and most complex projects to date. Gary has managed many of our most successful software deliveries for clients such as Egmont, Rosen Publishers, Sterling Publishing, Cambridge University Press, Hachette (LBS/Bookpoint) and Marston Book Services. Before joining Ingenta, Gary spent 11 years at Butterworth’s, a once legal, scientific, and medical publisher. He was also responsible for the initial development and support of the PubEasy e-commerce service.
As Director of Content Products, Rowland is responsible for the development and progression of our CMS system. He's a Technology & Product Leader with over 15 years’ experience in Software Product Development, Service Delivery and Project Management with demonstrable success delivering high quality technology solutions.
As Service Delivery Director, Paul is responsible for all infrastructure, security and platform delivery services spanning Ingenta’s entire product range and its internal requirements. Understanding and introducing technology changes to the business, its hosting platform and customers is a key part of the department’s remit in addition to maintaining strict SLAs for the hosted platforms. The Service Delivery team supports hundreds of servers in multiple locations across the globe and in the cloud.
Over the course of his 20+ years in IT Paul has previously worked in both banking and travel.
As Head of Ingenta Connect, Byron provides overall leadership and management of the commercial activities for our publisher-facing CMS product, Ingenta Connect, spanning 280+ publisher clients and over 25,000 registered libraries. As a senior manager within the Group Sales and Marketing Division, Byron is responsible for the business development of the Ingenta Connect service and for managing its Account Management and Client Support teams in the US and UK. Byron has an extensive background in publishing management, primarily in the education space, and was actively engaged in the business development of Macmillan’s class-leading English Campus and Discover China programmes and CUP’s English360 LMS prior to joining Ingenta.
As Technology Director, Ken is involved in researching, selecting and implementing technologies that will benefit the company's full range of applications and is currently involved in enhancements to our Enterprise suite of products. With the organisation since 1982, Ken was integral to driving the development of Vista Client and was responsible changing the language to support running the applications on the Oracle RDBMS. Prior to this Ken was Product Manager for the Vista Books applications and also Project Managed Vista implementations at some of our largest publishers. Prior joining Ingenta, he worked at Pan Books during the implementation of a new APT11 system.
Colin is a seasoned Software Development Director with over 20 years experience in building and developing high-performing, multi-disciplinary IT and Software Development teams across a wide range of industries including corporate end-user organisations and specialist software houses.
