Ingenta Awakens! In what is a return to the familiar for most of you, this month saw a change in our company name from Publishing Technology to Ingenta while our service remains as Ingenta Connect (although with slightly different capitalization!). The change in company name reflects a broadening in our business, the timing of which coincided with us delivering service improvements to address the functionality of the Ingenta Connect and bring it in-line with how researchers and libraries are locating and managing research material. This is encapsulated in our new Library Membership scheme, the first view of which is detailed below.

For the past decade, Ingenta Connect has offered two optional services to libraries – Ingenta Connect Complete and Ingenta Alerting – which have given participating libraries a broad range of very useful features for an additional fee. We are pleased to announce that the Sustainable Organization Library (from GSE Research and Greenleaf Publishing) has partnered with Litwin Books to include 24 of their titles which focus specifically on librarianship and information management as it relates to sustainability and diversity.
