Ingenta plc, developer of conChord — a leading rights, royalties, and contract management system — has announced a new strategic partnership with OpenPlay, the music industry’s largest media and rights management platform trusted by over 3,000 labels, distributors and publishers worldwide.
The collaboration will deliver native integration between OpenPlay’s catalog and metadata management system and Ingenta conChord, enabling labels, distributors, and publishers to directly access conChord’s powerful IP management engine through the OpenPlay platform.
“Ingenta shares OpenPlay’s mission to simplify processes for music rightsholders and distributors,” said Bob Barbiere, EVP and General Manager of OpenPlay Reach, OpenPlay’s recently launched service to support the seamless end-to-end delivery, distribution, management and monetization of music and video assets.
“This partnership supports that mission by giving customers access to two robust systems through a single, unified experience. We are proud to integrate Ingenta into the OpenPlay platform, further expanding the suite of services we provide to the music ecosystem.”
The integration ensures automated metadata sharing between both platforms, creating a centralized hub for managing assets, contracts, royalties, and artist payments.
“This collaboration is a natural fit,” said Scott Winner, CEO of Ingenta. “Both companies share a commitment to delivering ultra-reliable, fast, and intuitive systems. By working together, we enable seamless data integration between the two platforms, driving greater efficiency and simplifying royalty management.”
Ingenta conChord has earned industry acclaim for its versatility, speed, and dependable performance, handling every stage of contract, rights, and royalty management — from contract creation to artist payments. The integration with OpenPlay, currently in its final stages, will extend these benefits to an even broader audience when it launches later this year.
